Eli Lilly will invest an additional $4.5 billion across two Indiana manufacturing sites.
The investment will incorporate new process designs and technologies at one of its active pharmaceutical ingredient sites, which is set to open in 2027, as well as a genetic medicine manufacturing facility that opens Wednesday.
Since 2020, Eli Lilly has committed more than $50 billion in U.S. capital expansion and more than $21 billion in Indiana manufacturing.
