Tenaris signs agreement with Green Therma on geothermal energy

(Alliance News) - Tenaris has signed a memorandum of understanding with Denmark's Green Therma to accelerate the development of next-generation geothermal solutions in Europe, as reported by Milano Finanza on Tuesday.

The partnership combines Tenaris's expertise in pipe manufacturing and well services with Green Therma's proprietary Heat4Ever technology, which is based on the patented DualVac vacuum-insulated piping system designed to reduce heat loss, the newspaper explains.

According to Alessandro D'Angelo, Tenaris's Vice President of Sales for Europe, the Caspian Sea, and Sub-Saharan Africa, the collaboration aims to bolster European energy independence and reduce reliance on energy imports.
