Finnish engineering giant Valmet is set to deliver automation and safety systems for a waste-to-energy combined heat and power (CHP) project in Gliwice, Poland. The system is designed to control and optimize operations while reducing costs and environmental impact.

The facility is expected to generate heat and electricity from waste, significantly curbing coal consumption. The order will be booked in the first quarter of 2026, with deliveries scheduled for 2027–2028. Financial details were not disclosed.
