Over 40 Euronext indexes incorrectly calculated due to technical issue

LONDON (Reuters) - Around 40 Euronext stock indexes were incorrectly calculated on Wednesday morning in Europe due to a technical issue, the company said in a statement.

42 indexes, including the developed Europe share index and several Norwegian share indexes, were incorrectly calculated from 0800 GMT to 1153 GMT, the statement said.

It added that correct values had been broadcast since then.

Euronext said in a statement earlier on Wednesday that the Norwegian benchmark OBX share index was incorrectly calculated from 0800 GMT to 0910 GMT.
