The collaboration is a direct result of the Volvo Group's partnership with DRIVE, an innovation hub that focuses on disruptive start-ups in the Israeli mobility sector. It creates effective collaborations between hand-picked start-ups and the hub's corporate partners, one of which is Volvo. "The partnership approach is becoming ever more important and the result of the collaboration between Upstream and Volvo has the potential to be beneficial to many people."

The partnership with Upstream Security is a genuine success story and a perfect fit for Volvo as a global commercial corporation. Even when the level of security is high, there are always opportunities for improving it even further. Upstream Security provides cybersecurity solutions designed specifically to protect connected vehicles from cyber threats. "We are responsible for more than one million customer assets that are connected to our systems and we are continuously looking for opportunities to increase the level of protection from cybersecurity threats," says Tobias Sternvik, Director Enterprise Architecture at Volvo Group Connected Solutions, the global organisation that leads the development of the Volvo Group's connected services and solutions.
