(Alliance News) - Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi Di Bologna Spa on Wednesday reported that consolidated revenues for the first half of the year stood at EUR66.9 million, down 0.7 percent from the same period last year when they were EUR67.4 million.

Net income was EUR6.8 million, up from EUR4.2 million in the same period in 2022, but down from EUR9.4 million in the first half of 2019.

Ebitda stood at EUR18.7 million from EUR33.4 million as of June 30, 2022.

Ebit stood at EUR10.7 million from EUR26.8 million in the first half of 2022.

Group Net Financial Position as of June 30 was EUR2 million compared to EUR7 million as of December 31, 2022 and minus EUR13.5 million as of June 30, 2022.

In the first half of 2022, the airport recorded a total of 4.5 million passengers, a 25 percent increase compared to the first six months of 2022, affected by the spread of the Omicron variant and Russia's aggression on Ukraine, and a 3.1 percent increase compared to 2019, the last year before the pandemic. There were 36,766 movements and 25,903 tons of cargo transported.

The company recalls that the fastest recovery in the domestic sector was confirmed, with passengers on domestic flights reaching and exceeding pre-pandemic levels, up 16 percent compared to 2019. In the first half of the year, the incidence of domestic passenger traffic was 24 percent: lower than the same period in 2022, but higher than pre-Covid levels.

Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi Di Bologna closed Wednesday 1.7 percent in the red at EUR8.26 per share.
