AQ Group AB Reports Earnings Results for the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended September 30, 2023

AQ Group AB (publ) reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 2,149 million compared to SEK 1,711 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 2,190 million compared to SEK 1,764 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 171 million compared to SEK 99 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 9.34 compared to SEK 5.41 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 9.32 compared to SEK 5.41 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was SEK 6,747 million compared to SEK 5,078 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 6,874 million compared to SEK 5,215 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 499 million compared to SEK 277 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 27.25 compared to SEK 15.16 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 27.17 compared to SEK 15.16 a year ago.
AQ Group AB is a Sweden-based company, which develops, manufactures and assembles components and systems for industrial customers. The Company's business consists of the two segments: System and Component. The System segment includes electric cabinets and system products business areas, and produces systems, power and automation solutions and assembles complete machines in close collaboration with the customers. The Component segment encompasses business areas of injection molding, inductive components, wiring Systems, sheet metal processing, as well as special technologies and engineering. This segment produces transformers, wiring systems, mechanical components, punched sheet metal and injection-molded thermoplastics. The Company operates through its subsidiaries in Finland, Estonia, Mexico, India, Canada and China, among others.
