Atico Mining Corporation is a Canada-based company, focused on exploring, developing, and mining copper and gold projects in Latin America. Its segments include El Roble (El Roble mine), E&E activities at El Roble (El Roble E&E) and E&E activities at CMLP (La Plata E&E). The El Roble mine segment includes its mining operations at El Roble. The El Roble E&E segment includes E&E activities at El Roble. The La Plata E&E segment includes E&E activities at Compania Minera La Plata S.A. (CMLP). Its principal project, El Roble mine, is an underground copper, gold and silver mine and processing plant located in the Department of Choco in Colombia. The La Plata project is a gold-rich volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposit. The La Plata project consists of two concessions covering a total area of 2,235 hectares along its nine-kilometer length, which includes mineralization in two VMS lenses and nine priority exploration targets.
