Barclays Investment Bank Appoints Anthony Samengo-Turner as M&A Head for DACH Region

Barclays Investment Bank has appointed Anthony Samengo-Turner as head of M&A for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the DACH region.

In a statement on the bank's website dated Tuesday the investment banking arm of Barclays PLC said Mr. Samengo-Turner, who has most recently been co-head of Greenhill & Co's DACH business, will join the company in September.

"Germany is the largest market in Europe, outside of the U.K., for investment banking transactions. This appointment supports our commitment to further strengthen both our Banking capabilities and our broader European franchise," said Reid Marsh, Barclays head of banking for Europe and the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
