Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria said Thursday that it has appointed corporate-and-investment banking head Luisa Gomez Bravo as its new chief financial officer, replacing Rafael Salinas Martinez de Lecea.

The Spanish bank said Salinas Martinez de Lecea is stepping down after a three-decade career, but will remain involved with the group as a board member of Garanti BBVA.

BBVA's sustainability head, Javier Rodriguez Soler, will add the role of head of corporate-and-investment banking to his current role.
