Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A - Eletrobras, in addition to the announcement disclosed on September 26, 2023, informs that, on this date, Mr. Eduardo Haiama took office as Vice-President of Finance and Investor Relations of the Company.

Mr. Eduardo Haiama served as Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer of Yduqs Participations from 2019 to 2022 and Equatorial Energy from 2008 to November 2019. He was also Board Member to Equatorial Energia. Previously he worked at UBS Pactual Bank in the area of variable income research as a senior electrical and sanitation analyst between 2004 and 2008. It has been awarded on several occasions as one of the best analysts by Institutional Investor. Before that, he worked as a structured product analyst for Banco Itaú BBA (ex-BBA Creditanstalt). He graduated from the Polytechnic School of USP in Electrical Engineering and has a postgraduate degree (MBA) from Duke University.
