CMR, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 923.77 million compared to MXN 920.38 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 42.98 million compared to MXN 24.07 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.15 compared to MXN 0.03 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was MXN 3,533.38 million compared to MXN 3,346.67 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 82.65 million compared to MXN 17.87 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.15 compared to MXN 0.03 a year ago.
CMR SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the management of restaurants. The Company's activities are divided into two business segments: Restaurants and Rental. The Restaurants division is responsible for the operation of fast food and Mexican restaurants under a range of brand names, such as Wings, La Calle, Fonda Mexicana, Chili's, Olive Garden, La Destileria, El Lago, Red Lobster, The Capital Grille, LongHorn Steakhouse and Bistro Chapultepec. The Rental segment includes leasing of commercial real estate. The Company operates in Mexico through Centro Restaurantero Mexicano SA de CV, Gastronomia Especializada SA de CV, Operadora Wings SA de CV and Conturmex SA de CV, among others.
