CMR, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 684 million compared to MXN 427.25 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 41.22 million compared to MXN 248.66 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.0751 compared to MXN 1.2226 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.0751 compared to MXN 1.2226 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was MXN 1,828.27 million compared to MXN 1,473.76 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 165.1 million compared to MXN 635.5 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.301 compared to MXN 1.5526 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.301 compared to MXN 1.5526 a year ago.
CMR SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the management of restaurants. The Company's activities are divided into two business segments: Restaurants and Rental. The Restaurants division is responsible for the operation of fast food and Mexican restaurants under a range of brand names, such as Wings, La Calle, Fonda Mexicana, Chili's, Olive Garden, La Destileria, El Lago, Red Lobster, The Capital Grille, LongHorn Steakhouse and Bistro Chapultepec. The Rental segment includes leasing of commercial real estate. The Company operates in Mexico through Centro Restaurantero Mexicano SA de CV, Gastronomia Especializada SA de CV, Operadora Wings SA de CV and Conturmex SA de CV, among others.
