Crédit Agricole has announced that it is strengthening its collaboration with the European Investment Bank Group in 2024, with joint investment projects in strategic areas.

The two partners thus confirm their commitment to supporting the ecological transition of French and European SMEs and ETIs, as well as the public sector in France, from 2024 onwards, after having already financed more than E1.6 billion in 2023.

This dynamic cooperation between Crédit Agricole and the EIB Group has led to the identification of several avenues of collaboration, notably in the fields of energy transition, education and public health, and the bioeconomy.

This partnership is perfectly in line with the commitments made as part of the Crédit Agricole Group's Projet Sociétal, particularly with regard to supporting our corporate and agricultural customers in their energy transition," says Olivier Gavalda, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A. in charge of Universal Banking.
