DuChemBIO Co.,Ltd. announced that it expects to receive KRW 5.37897425 billion in funding from Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd., Investment Arm, Samsung Securities Co.,Ltd., Korea Development Bank, Investment Arm, Komelon Corporation

DuChemBIO Co.,Ltd. (XKON:A176750) announced a private placement of 486,785 common shares at an issue price of KRW 11,050 for gross proceeds of KRW 5,378,974,250 on April 18, 2019. The transaction will involve participation from returning investor Korea Investment & Securities Co., Ltd., Investment Arm for KRW 994,500,000, Samsung Securities Co.,Ltd. (KOSE:A016360) for KRW 596,700,000, Komelon Corporation (KOSDAQ:A049430) for KRW 499,990,400 and individual investor Junhee Park for KRW 499,990,400. The transaction is expected to close on April 26, 2019.

The securities to be issued in the transaction are subject to a hold period. Post the closing of the transaction , the shares issued by the company will increase from 6,870,878 to 7,357,663. The shares will be issued through third party allotment method and at a premium.
