Tablemac SA is a Colombia-based company with a clear focus in the production, distribution and sale of special products with high added value in the wooden derivates field. The Company's main products portfolio includes wood-based panels and a variety of fiberboards, such as plain fiberboards, fiberboards with decorative coating, medium-density, laminate and moisture-resistant fiberboards, exterior and interior doors, as well as it also comprises modular, house and office ready-to-assemble furniture lines, which are distributed under the Paractimac and FAUS brand names. In addition, the Company is involved in the forestry sector. On January 24, 2014, Duratex Europe NV of Belgium, a wholly-owned unit of Duratex SA, completed its tender offer to raise its interest to 80.621% from 37%, by acquiring a further 43.621% stake, or 14.772 bil ordinary shares, in the Company.
