ENDESA S A : 2020 Profit Rose, Revenue Fell

Endesa SA said Wednesday that profit rose in 2020 compared with the previous year, when an impairment charge took its toll, and that revenue fell.

The Spanish utility company reported net profit of 1.39 billion euros ($1.69 billion) for the year compared with EUR171 million for 2019.

Revenue decreased to EUR17.58 billion from EUR20.16 billion the year earlier. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization came in at EUR3.78 billion, compared to EUR3.84 billion.
