WELLINGTON, New Zealand--Medical devices manufacturer Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Ltd. raised its full-year earnings and revenue forecasts because of strong pandemic-related demand for its respiratory and other equipment.

The company expects annual net profit of between 365 million and 385 million New Zealand dollars ($239.4 million to $252.5 million), up from its previous guidance of NZ$325 million to NZ$340 million, it said Tuesday.

Fisher & Paykel Healthcare forecast operating revenue of NZ$1.61 billion compared with NZ$1.48 billion previously.

The company said its sales of hospital hardware have increased by 390% in the first four months of the financial year.
