Fuso Pharmaceutical Industries,Ltd. (TSE:4538) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 1,300,000 shares, representing 1.44% of the outstanding shares at ¥259 per share for ¥336.7 million. Shares will be repurchased in the Tokyo Stock Exchange Off-Auction Own Share Repurchase Trading (ToSTNeT-3). The purpose of the program is to enhance capital efficiency and improve shareholder returns. As of July 31, 2016, the company had 90,426,035 shares outstanding and 4,085,655 shares in treasury.
