Instalco launches a new business area and technical discipline within building automation. The newly started company Inmatiq, specializing in automation solutions for real estate properties and industrial facilities, will be central to the strategic initiative.

“Our venture in the technical consulting area through Intec, where we today have 400 consultants in three countries, has been very successful. Now we are starting up within automation and building a similar enterprise with the same model. We are thus broadening our technical consulting efforts through two brands, Inmatiq and Intec,” says Johan Larsson, division manager Instalco, who was responsible for starting up the Technical Consulting business Intec within Instalco.

Organizationally, the Inmatiq business area will be under the Technical Consulting division with Anders Lundin as responsible. Business Area Manager for Inmatiq is Fredrik Hautau. Fredrik has extensive experience in the industry, and has among other things, held roles as regional manager at WSP and Bravida.

In line with increased demands for digitalization and resource-saving measures for buildings, industries and facilities, the area of automation is becoming increasingly important. Inmatiq will focus on energy efficiency and automation in the facility and process area.

“This is a launch in an area that is very relevant today. Inmatiq will be something new, a fast-moving company that is not stuck in old systems. We will build Inmatiq through Instalco’s start-up model in the same way we have built Intec organically,” says Anders Lundin, Head of Division Technical Consulting, Instalco where the business areas Intec and Inmatiq are now included.

The customers will be installation companies, construction companies, property owners, and the public sector.
