Kish Bancorp, Inc. announced unaudited financial results for the first six months ended June 30, 2016. Net income for the first six months of 2016 was $2.16 million, an increase of 3.3% from $2.091 million in 2015. Net interest income after allowance rose to $9.94 million, an increase of $433,000 or 4.55%, from $9.51 million the prior year.
Kish Bancorp, Inc. is a diversified financial service company. Kish Bank, a subsidiary of the Company, operates approximately 18 offices and financial centers serving Centre, Mifflin, Huntingdon, Blair, and Juniata counties, and northeastern Ohio. In addition to Kish Bank, other business units include Kish Insurance, an independent property and casualty insurance agency; Kish Financial Solutions, which offers trust, fiduciary, and wealth management advisory services; Kish Benefits Consulting, which provides employee benefits consulting services; and Kish Travel, a full-service travel agency.
