BIOVILL Co.,Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A065940) agreed to acquire 60% stake in Auto Trading Corporation for KRW 18 billion on July 12, 2018. BIOVILL Co.,Ltd. has undertaken a private placement of an issuance of bonds to fund the deal. For the year 2017, Auto Trading Corporation reported total assets of KRW 4.3 billion, total capital of KRW 2 billion, sales of KRW 5.5 billion and net profit of KRW 2 billion. The Board of Directors of BIOVILL Co.,Ltd passed a resolution for the deal on July 12, 2018. The deal is expected to close on July 12, 2018.
BIOVILL Co.,Ltd., formerly KSCB Co.,Ltd. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of pigment preparations used in plastic processing industry. The Company provides four categories of products: plastic coloring agents, plastic printing inks, synthetic leather surface coating agents and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds. Its products are used in construction, automobile, advertising, electronic and other industries. In addition, it also involves in the provision of pigments and solvents. Through its subsidiaries, the Company is also engaged in the stem cell business.
