BIOVILL Co.,Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A065940) agreed to acquire an additional 13.9% stake in Bio Support Co., Ltd. for KRW 5 billion on April 23, 2018. Under the terms of transaction, BIOVILL Co.,Ltd. will acquire an additional 0.29 million shares for kRW 5 billion. Upon completion, BIOVILL Co.,Ltd. will hold 0.65 million shares in Bio Support Co., Ltd. For the year ended December 31, 2017, Bio Support Co., Ltd. had total assets of KRW 19.1 billion, net assets of KRW 17.7 billion, sales of KRW 3.5 billion and net profit of KRW 789 million. The transaction has been resolved by the Board of BIOVILL Co.,Ltd. The transaction is expected to be completed by April 23, 2018.

BIOVILL Co.,Ltd., formerly KSCB Co.,Ltd. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture of pigment preparations used in plastic processing industry. The Company provides four categories of products: plastic coloring agents, plastic printing inks, synthetic leather surface coating agents and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds. Its products are used in construction, automobile, advertising, electronic and other industries. In addition, it also involves in the provision of pigments and solvents. Through its subsidiaries, the Company is also engaged in the stem cell business.
