Lan Fa Textile Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 226.07 million compared to TWD 599.91 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 43.95 million compared to net loss of TWD 326.22 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.14 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.03 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 491.23 million compared to TWD 1,196.76 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 35.26 million compared to net loss of TWD 240.18 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.11 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.76 a year ago.
LAN FA TEXTILE CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of textured polyester yarns. The Companyâs products include set yarns, stretch yarns, non-torque yarns, high-count yarns, less torque yarns, micro-fibers, non-sizing yarns, dimity-like yarns, fire-retardant finished yarns, matt yarns and environmental friendly yarns, among others. The Company operates through three segments, including false twisting plant in Chupei segment, false twisting plant in Hangzhou segment and others segment. The Company mainly operates businesses in the domestic market.
