LEATEC Fine Ceramics Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 206.28 million compared to TWD 270.84 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 14.17 million compared to net income of TWD 19.66 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.13 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.18 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.13 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.18 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 460.75 million compared to TWD 512.67 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 11.45 million compared to net income of TWD 28.92 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.11 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.27 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.11 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.27 a year ago.
Leatec Fine Ceramics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, manufacture, processing and trading of alumina ceramic substrates. The primary products include ceramic substrates for chip exclusion, ceramic substrates for chip resistors, ceramic substrates for hybrid integrated circuits, laser resistors, polished substrates, solar junction boxes, solar connectors, among others. The Company operates through two business segments. The Precision Ceramics segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of ceramic substrates. The Optoelectronic segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of solar connectors. The Company mainly distributes its products in Asia, America, Europe, among others.
