LEATEC Fine Ceramics Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 201.53 million compared to TWD 143.81 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 104.04 million compared to net loss of TWD 0.173 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.96. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.96.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 609.15 million compared to TWD 604.56 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 202.5 million compared to net loss of TWD 11.63 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.87 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.11 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.87 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.11 a year ago.
Leatec Fine Ceramics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, manufacture, processing and trading of alumina ceramic substrates. The primary products include ceramic substrates for chip exclusion, ceramic substrates for chip resistors, ceramic substrates for hybrid integrated circuits, laser resistors, polished substrates, solar junction boxes, solar connectors, among others. The Company operates through two business segments. The Precision Ceramics segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of ceramic substrates. The Optoelectronic segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of solar connectors. The Company mainly distributes its products in Asia, America, Europe, among others.
