LEATEC Fine Ceramics Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 241.833 million compared to TWD 183.238 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 19.664 million compared to operating loss of TWD 13.396 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 9.267 million compared to net loss of TWD 26.950 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.09 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.25 a year ago.
Leatec Fine Ceramics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, manufacture, processing and trading of alumina ceramic substrates. The primary products include ceramic substrates for chip exclusion, ceramic substrates for chip resistors, ceramic substrates for hybrid integrated circuits, laser resistors, polished substrates, solar junction boxes, solar connectors, among others. The Company operates through two business segments. The Precision Ceramics segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of ceramic substrates. The Optoelectronic segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of solar connectors. The Company mainly distributes its products in Asia, America, Europe, among others.
