LEATEC Fine Ceramics Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 214.72 million compared to TWD 206.28 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 150.84 million compared to net loss of TWD 14.17 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.4 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.13 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.39 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.13 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 407.62 million compared to TWD 460.75 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 98.46 million compared to net loss of TWD 11.45 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.91 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.11 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.91 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.11 a year ago.
Leatec Fine Ceramics Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, manufacture, processing and trading of alumina ceramic substrates. The primary products include ceramic substrates for chip exclusion, ceramic substrates for chip resistors, ceramic substrates for hybrid integrated circuits, laser resistors, polished substrates, solar junction boxes, solar connectors, among others. The Company operates through two business segments. The Precision Ceramics segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of ceramic substrates. The Optoelectronic segment is principally engaged in the production and sale of solar connectors. The Company mainly distributes its products in Asia, America, Europe, among others.
