Scranton, PA - Wayne Bank's Central Scranton Community Office is excited to announce the winners of November's "Bank Local. Shop Local. Win Local." contest, as well as the program's new partner businesses for December.
Wayne Bank's "Bank Local. Shop Local. Win Local" program showcases three different local businesses each month to help promote the "go local" movement and the importance of supporting local, small businesses. The contest, which is open to everyone, gives entrants the opportunity to win one of three $25 gift certificates each month from that month's three partner businesses.
The three lucky winners for the month of November are Janet Miller, who won a $25 gift certificate to Amendolaro Gift Boutique, Amanda Sheptak, who won a $25 gift certificate to Downtown Deli & Eatery, and Jim O'Brien, who won a $25 gift certificate to Northern Light Espresso Bar & Cafe.
For the month of December, the Bank is partnering with Nibbles & Bits, Mansour's Market, and The Daisy Collective, giving contest entrants new chances to win a $25 gift certificate from one of these vibrant local businesses.
According to Matt Swartz, Community Office Manager of Wayne Bank's Central Scranton location, "The Petersburg section of Scranton has done a great job cultivating some really nice local shops. I am delighted to work with our most recent group of local businesses to help continue promoting the value of supporting the committed entrepreneurs of our communities."
