Election of Directors

Ms. Dessislava Temperley (age 48) was appointed to the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Philip Morris International Inc. (the "Company") effective December 6, 2021. She was also appointed to the Audit Committee of the Board and Finance Committee of the Board.

Ms. Temperley will be compensated for her service to the Board pursuant to the Company's existing non-employee director compensation programs. These non-employee director compensation programs are described in detail in the Company's proxy statement for its 2021 annual meeting of shareholders filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on March 25, 2021.

Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

On December 9, 2021, the Company issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of $1.25 per share, which press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Item 7.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated by reference herein.
