SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) _ Rambus Inc. (RMBS) on Monday reported a loss of $66.2 million in its first quarter.

The San Jose, California-based company said it had a loss of 60 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to 39 cents per share.

The memory chip designer posted revenue of $99.1 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $132.7 million.

For the current quarter ending in July, Rambus said it expects revenue in the range of $128 million to $146 million.
