Space Co., Ltd. (TSE:9622) concluded a contract to acquire 51% stake in MSC CO., LTD from Yukio Arai and others on February 9, 2018. Under the terms, Space Co., Ltd will acquire 51 shares in MSC CO., LTD. For the fiscal year ended November 30, 2017, MSC CO., LTD reported total assets of ¥75.72 million, net assets of ¥9.75 million, sales of ¥220.3 million, operating profit of ¥26.4 million and net profit of ¥11.2 million. The transaction is resolved by the Board of Directors of Space Co., Ltd held on February 9, 2018. The transaction is expected to close on February 20, 2018.
