PJSC Tatneft : Projects of TATNEFT Are the Winners of the Innovative Ideas Contest

The projects of TATNEFT Company have been named the winners of the XVIIth Republican Contest "50 Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan" for 2021. The grand ceremony of awarding the winners took place on December 21 in Kazan and it was attended by Alexey Pesoshin, Prime Minister of Tatarstan.

The contest "Fifty Best Innovative Ideas for the Republic of Tatarstan" is held on the annual basis by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan with the aim of stimulating innovation, promoting the intellectual achievements of professionals in the scientific and technical areas and promoting the use of the intellectual potential of the Russian regions, foreign countries in solving scientific technical and socio-economic problems of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Inter alia, the main criteria for the competitive selection include the project significance for the Republic of Tatarstan; compliance of the project with the modern development level of science and technology, as well as to the main priorities of the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan; and the possibility of commercialization.

The contest winners' list has included 8 projects from TATNEFT in 2021:

"A set of innovative activities in the field of well construction to improve the efficiency of developing terrigenous Devonian reservoirs" (Alexander Pitirimov, Well Construction Department, Executive Office);

"Technology for elimination of the casing backflow circulation using swellable packers" (Lenar Rakhmayev, Tatneft-Dobycha (Upstream));

The program "Method for determining the reservoir rock properties based on the seismic data" (Roman Alekseev, TGRU);

"Wells construction method for terrigenous Devonian deposits of the Romashkinskoye oil field" (Ruslan Faskhutdinov, Tatneft-Dobycha (Upstream));

"Method for the development of an oil reservoir with a heterogeneous permeability" (Vladislav Belov, "TatNIPIneft" Institute);

"A set of technologies for limiting water production, which adapt to the geological and technical conditions of oil producing wells" (Irik Fattakhov, Well Workover and EOR Department, Executive Office);

"A complex of software products for preparing seismic material for neurocomputer analysis" (Evgeniy Grunis, TGRU);

"EPSILON software package for long-term investment planning as well as technical and economic assessment of oil reserves at the production facilities" (Arslan Nasybullin, "TatNIPIneft" Institute).

Receiving high awards by TATNEFT employees once again confirms the Company's leadership position in the development and implementation of innovations on a scale of Tatarstan and the whole Russia.
