BASF: new Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2024

Following the meeting of its Supervisory Board on Wednesday, BASF announces that Markus Kamieth, a member of the Board of Directors since 2017, will succeed Martin Brudermüller as future Chairman of the Board of Directors.

This appointment will take effect at the close of the Annual General Meeting on April 25, 2024. As a reminder, Martin Brudermüller has chaired the German chemical group's Board of Directors since 2018, and has been a member since 2006.

Katja Scharpwinkel, future Head of Industrial Relations from February 1, and Anup Kothari, currently President of the Nutrition and Health Division, will also become Board members next year.
