(Alliance News) - Lemon Sistemi Spa announced Tuesday that it has signed a contract for the construction of a photovoltaic plant in Sicily featuring a Huawei electrochemical storage system, with a total estimated value of approximately EUR4.3 million.

The project includes a unique Huawei storage system, the company specified in a note, 'marking a further step up in scale for Lemon Sistemi'.

The contract covers professional permitting services and executive design, supply, construction, and commissioning of a ground-mounted photovoltaic plant on fixed structures integrated with a Huawei BESS electrochemical storage system, along with related connection and infrastructure works.

The transaction, the note concludes, 'strengthens the positioning in the integrated solutions segment for self-consumption and opens a new development cycle in the BESS market for Lemon Sistemi, with prospects for further expansion among industrial clients'.
