Northrop Grumman Systems received a $885 million contract to supply tank rounds to the U.S. Army.
The company will provide 120mm Advanced Multi-Purpose M1147 High Explosive Multi-Purpose with Tracer Cartridge for the army and for foreign military sales in the future, the Defense Department said in a statement on Friday.
Bids were solicited through the internet with one offer received, the Pentagon said.
The contract is for a cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, and fixed-price with economic price adjustment, according to the Pentagon.
Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of March 28, 2031.
The Army Contracting Command in Newark, N.J., is the contracting activity.
