May 1 (Reuters) - Canadian pipeline operator TC Energy beat analysts' estimates for first-quarter profit on Friday, helped by strength in its U.S. and Canada operations.
On an adjusted basis, the Calgary-based company earned 99 Canadian cents ($0.7294) per share for the three months ended March 31, compared with analysts' average expectation of 98 Canadian cents, according to data compiled by LSEG.
