Diageo Denmark A/S appoints Eray Cayirli as new CEO

Copenhagen, Denmark. 02 March 2022.

Diageo Denmark A/S announces the appointment of Eray Cayirli as CEO of the company, effective on 1^st of March 2022. Eray will also join the Board of Directors.

Eray succeeds Thea Hammerskov, who has served as CEO since December 2020. Thea will remain on the Board of Directors.

Eray joined Diageo 1^st of October 2021 as Commercial Director for the Nordic countries. Eray was previously at Reckitt, the global consumer goods company, where he performed various roles, latterly as Global Director, Pharmacy and Drugs.

Eray was born in Turkey, lived in the UK for two years, and has recently moved to Copenhagen.
