STAVANGER NORWAY, Norway (AP) _ Equinor ASA (EQNR) on Thursday reported first-quarter net income of $1.85 billion, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Stavanger Norway, Norway-based company said it had profit of 57 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 82 cents per share.
The oil and gas company posted revenue of $16.13 billion in the period.
Equinor shares have risen 28% since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 62% in the last 12 months.
