GEM Services, Inc. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2018. For the full year, the company announced sales was TWD 3,412.024 million compared to TWD 3,094.368 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 756.739 million compared to TWD 817.216 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 774.363 million compared to TWD 627.189 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 6.6 compared to TWD 5.35 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 6.54 compared to TWD 5.31 a year ago.
GEM Services, Inc. is a Cayman Islands-based multinational semiconductor assembly and test contractor. The Company specializes in small-outline surface-mount packages for power management semiconductors. Its customers are semiconductor manufacturers who require both industry standard and advanced packaging solutions as part of their portfolio of value-added products for portable, battery-powered communications, computing systems, industry, and automobile applications. It operates two factories in Greater China: Shanghai, China; Hefei, China, which produces industry standard and advanced discrete, integrated circuits (IC) and multi-chip module (MCM) packages, including concepts co-developed with customers. The Companyâs products and services include packaging development, wafer processing, assembly services, electrical test, logistic services and reliability testing. Its electrical test includes discrete device electrical testing and analog and power IC electrical testing.
