GEM Services, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 888.323 million compared to TWD 778.485 million a year ago. Total revenue was TWD 903.103 million compared to TWD 793.005 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 226.516 million compared to TWD 205.417 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 290.697 million compared to TWD 165.109 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.48 compared to TWD 1.41 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 2.46 compared to TWD 1.4 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 2,502.015 million compared to TWD 2,200.777 million a year ago. Total revenue was TWD 2,546.225 million compared to TWD 2,244.790 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 571.311 million compared to TWD 583.141 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 613.533 million compared to TWD 419.810 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 5.23 compared to TWD 3.58 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 5.19 compared to TWD 3.55 a year ago.
GEM Services, Inc. is a Cayman Islands-based multinational semiconductor assembly and test contractor. Its customers are semiconductor manufacturers who require both industry standard and advanced packaging solutions as part of their portfolio of value-added products for portable, battery-powered communications, computing systems, industry, and automobile applications.
