Bomcomics Co.,Ltd. announced a private placement of 400,000 shares at KRW 2500 per share for gross proceeds of KRW 1,000,000,000 on July 5, 2017. The transaction include participation from KidariStudio, Inc. (KOSE:A02020). The Scheduled subscription date for existing shareholder is July 7, 2017. The shares issued will have a lock up period of one year. The transaction was approved by board of directors. The company reported total asset is KRW 542,162,238, total liabilities of KRW 2,645,000,000 and net loss of KRW 1,583,000,000 for the year ended December 31, 2016.
On the same day, the company announced that it has amended the terms of the transaction. The company will now issue 320,000 shares for gross proceeds of KRW 800,000,000.
KidariStudio Inc, formerly Daouincube, is a Korea-based company engaged in the provision of technological solutions to publishing industry. It provides solutions for creating rich media contents deliverables for multi-channels including tablet personal computers, smart phones and other interactive electronic devices. It operates two business divisions. Its Quark division specializes in domestic operation and marketing for QuarkXPress products and Quark solutions, which are software used in desktop publishing (DTP) electronic publishing and editing sectors. Its E-Book division provides conversion solutions, which enables automatic conversion of original publication made by QuarkXPress to ePub files. On February 20, 2014, the Company sold its entire shares of Smartphy, a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacturing of semiconductor development.
