Macauto Industrial Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 997.49 million compared to TWD 1,242.02 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 55.4 million compared to TWD 113.66 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.74 compared to TWD 1.51 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.74 compared to TWD 1.51 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 2,139.73 million compared to TWD 2,548.98 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 142.1 million compared to TWD 244.47 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.9 compared to TWD 3.26 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.89 compared to TWD 3.25 a year ago.
Macauto Industrial Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of automotive curtains. The Company's main products include automotive shutters and electric yard tools, such as lawn mowers. Its automotive shutters include rear-mounted sunshades, side window sunshades, triangular window sunshades, sunroof sunshades, windshields, cover curtains, storage nets, safety nets and cold air shutters. The Company distributes its products in domestic market to overseas markets, including the mainland China, the United States, the Netherlands and others.
