Macauto Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,430.500 million compared to TWD 1,320.680 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 143.826 million compared to TWD 182.012 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 106.093 million compared to TWD 156.159 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.42 compared to TWD 2.08 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.41 compared to TWD 2.08 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 4,392.168 million compared to TWD 3,955.415 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 486.507 million compared to TWD 606.859 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 390.721 million compared to TWD 481.755 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 5.22 compared to TWD 6.43 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 5.19 compared to TWD 6.41 a year ago.
Macauto Industrial Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of automotive curtains. The Company's main products include automotive shutters and electric yard tools, such as lawn mowers. Its automotive shutters include rear-mounted sunshades, side window sunshades, triangular window sunshades, sunroof sunshades, windshields, cover curtains, storage nets, safety nets and cold air shutters. The Company distributes its products in domestic market to overseas markets, including the mainland China, the United States, the Netherlands and others.
