Macauto Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,242.019 million compared to TWD 866.130 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 149.834 million compared to TWD 57.571 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 113.657 million compared to TWD 69.625 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.51 compared to TWD 0.93 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 2,548.979 million compared to TWD 1,919.687 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 328.418 million compared to TWD 150.605 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 244.465 million compared to TWD 142.503 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.26 compared to TWD 1.9 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.25 compared to TWD 1.89 a year ago.
Macauto Industrial Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of automotive curtains. The Company's main products include automotive shutters and electric yard tools, such as lawn mowers. Its automotive shutters include rear-mounted sunshades, side window sunshades, triangular window sunshades, sunroof sunshades, windshields, cover curtains, storage nets, safety nets and cold air shutters. The Company distributes its products in domestic market to overseas markets, including the mainland China, the United States, the Netherlands and others.
