Netflix is giving a glimpse of the new series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

The streaming service shared a teaser trailer for the anime series Wednesday during the Netflix Geeked Week fan event.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is based on the CD Projekt Red video game Cyberpunk 2077, released in December 2020.

The 10-episode series tells a standalone story about a street kid trying to survive in a technology- and body-modification-obsessed city of the future.

"Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner -- a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk," an official description reads.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners hails from Japanese animation studio Studio Trigger (Promare, Kill la Kill). CD Projekt Red will produce the series, with Rafael Jaki as showrunner and executive producer.

In addition, Hiroyuki Imaishi will direct the series, which features an original score by Akira Yamaoka.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners premieres on Netflix in September.
