INTERVIEW - Jaya Baloo, Rapid7: Cybersecurity budgets are shrinking, which is a cause for concern

Rapid7's (RPD) Director of Security, Jaya Baloo, discusses the state of the cybersecurity industry and what companies should be doing to better protect themselves. She looks back at the recent hack that disrupted many services at MGM's hotel-casinos, and will reduce third-quarter earnings by around $100 million. She believes that corporate cybersecurity budgets are trending downwards, which is worrying given the growing importance of IT security.
