Royal Dutch Shell plc agreed to acquire an additional 27.5% stake in Shearwater Oilfield in the British North Sea from BP p.l.c. (LSE:BP.).

Royal Dutch Shell plc (ENXTAM:RDSA) agreed to acquire an additional 27.5% stake in Shearwater Oilfield in the British North Sea from BP p.l.c. (LSE:BP.) on June 25, 2021. Upon completion Shell will hold 55.5% stake in Shearwater Oilfield in the British North Sea. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.
