Telecom operator Telia is expanding its 5G offering in Lithuania by introducing 5G standalone technology to the consumer market. The new services will enable, among other things, reserved network capacity, higher speeds, stability, and security even during periods of heavy network usage.

"This is a milestone for our customers. It means faster and more secure connectivity in densely populated areas, even during peak evening data usage," said Arunas Strolia, Head of Networks at Telia Lithuania.

The service will initially be available to a limited number of users.
