Health-care companies ticked down amid doubts about economic stimulus and coronavirus vaccines.

Drug giant Pfizer has organized what it's calling its "biggest ever" logistics operation to distribute its Covid-19 vaccine once it receives emergency authorization from regulators, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Closely held drug maker Purdue Pharma pleaded guilty to three felonies related to marketing and distribution of opioid painkiller OxyContin, capping yearslong federal investigations into tactics the government said helped fuel the opioid crisis.

The pleas were part of $8.34 billion in settlements with Purdue and its owners, members of the Sackler family.
